Brandy Gibbs is a native Austinite, 6th generation Texan, 3rd generation Longhorn, professional chef, and entrepreneur. In 2001, Brandy established Fine Home Dining, a boutique catering service specializing in fine cuisine for intimate dinners, cocktail parties, special celebrations and every occasion in between.
Brandy received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas. Through her political and fundraising work in Washington, D.C., Brandy found her creative outlet in the kitchen. Her love of cooking and its role in community building and memory-making led Brandy to further her culinary education. She studied her craft at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, cooking cuisines from around the globe and eating her way through the Bay Area.
Brandy worked alongside Paul Bocuse-trained French Chef Fabrice Marcon at Hyde Street Bistro in San Francisco. She was drawn to the warmth and seafood of the islands, cooking at the 5-diamond Pier House Resort Restaurant in Key West, Florida. Back home in Texas, Brandy was pastry chef at Tocai Wine bar and managed catering for the Kitchen Door while growing Fine Home Dining through tasteful dinners and word of mouth.
Brandy is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Austin and an active member of Les Dames de Escoffier, a philanthropic organization for women in food & hospitality.

Not long after trading in Chicago winters for Austin sunshine in 2002, Kristine finally found the intersection of passion and work - providing Austin families nutritious and delicious meals!
In 2005, she became the owner and operator of a meal assembly franchise which opened her eyes and the door to her true calling. Kristine sold the business in 2012 and enrolled in Natural Epicurean Culinary Academy. There, Kristine focused on health supportive cooking, including plant-based cooking, raw and living foods, Ayurvedic and Macrobiotic cuisines.
She has found that her focus on food serves well her preference for variety and need for flexibility. When not managing the household of a traveling husband, twin girls and a house full of pets, Kristine has worked as a personal chef, caterer and an event coordinator. She is inspired by local, seasonal, plant-based cuisine, the farm-to-table movement and utilizing food as medicine.
“I love to bring people together in the spirit of fun and good health. My hope is to have a positive impact on my community by sharing food, love and the love of food with others.”
